BLADE
When Black and Decker manufactures box cutter blades, there is a sharpened triangular piece of leftover material. This team project was to 3D print a tool that utilized the leftover part and included a control element. The deliverables were our product sketches, a physical prototype, and this portfolio entry. Our team had many diverse initial product ideas, but we quickly settled on creating a camping tool that both shaves wood and lights flint. Please click the slideshow to enlarge the pictures.
